FIBERGLASS

Alum Foil Laminated Glass Cloth

TexCo Materials manufactures alum foil laminated glass cloth of various types with or without PE lamination. The basic Fibreglass material can withstand some pretty intense temperatures–it’s 1000 Fahrenheit (537 Celsius) before the adhesive burns off entirely and even higher than 300 degrees Fahrenheit where vaporization begins. The aluminum foil melts at 1220°F / 660°C, but it takes time for the metal to absorb enough heat. This means that if you are burning your fabric with a candle or other high-temperature source, there is no immediate danger of fire because all we need now is just patience!
